Doctor Who
Q I am a social worker and I have been having problems with the doctor assigned to my cases. In our hospital meetings he constantly ignores the points that I make and talks down to me. One lady that I had warned was not capable of looking after herself suffered a fall in her home and lay there for 2 days. Had he listened to my advice (to put her into a home) she would not have suffered needlessly. I don't want to take the situation as far as a tribunal (mostly because I still think I will be ignored in favour of him) but how can I approach him without getting his back up? His back is already up! Jen H

Fatal Attraction
Q I have recently developed feelings for a patient of mine, which I think she reciprocates (I can see she has made a marked improvement but she keeps turning up for 'check up's). I am very attracted to her but I am married and don't want to upset my wife of 15 years. How do I handle this? If I broach the subject with her I run the risk of embarrassing myself (if I'm mistaken) and if I don't she might take it to mean that I am interested. AB

Lonely and poor
Q My husband divorced me after a 17 year marriage - I then brought up our children (who were devastated) on my own. They have all left home now, and due to my hours as a nurse, and the fact that my salary is not exceptionally good (most of my free cash goes on my children, one of whom I am helping with mortgage payments) I struggle to meet other single people. I am really tired of being so lonely. Suzi1
